So what are your plans for Friday March 14th?
Have you ever heard of H.Y.D.R.A.?
HYDRA stands for Hart Youth Development Resource Association and was formed in 1988 to help serve the needs of the community. We offer after school, school break and summer camp childcare. As our community grows though, we are starting to offer different services based on everyone's needs.
We are hosting Parent's Night Out again on March 14th! We extended the hours until 10pm because...well have you seen all you can do on March 14th?
After you grab a bite at some of our many local restaurants... (short list here: https://www.hart-chamber.org/list/ql/restaurants-food-beverages-21)
You can take in a play, that night at the Hart County Community Theatre. "To Kill a Mockingbird" is at 7:30 and tickets are available here: https://www.hhcct.org/show/to-kill-a-mockingbird/
If you want some laugh entertainment you can head to The Station at 7:30 and see comedian Hank Denson: https://stationofhartwell.freshtix.com/events/comedian-hank-denson?utm_campaign=Freshtix&utm_medium=Freshtix&utm_source=Freshtix&fbclid=IwY2xjawIqrDlleHRuA2FlbQIxMQABHc9uWorC7Zywy8xV0ccwVqQVi8j5wwODIfhFUMmK7MJ0IIPQlcWou2wojA_aem_c5hnCj5MsqgHcAXHWktfGQ
You can always go throw an Axe at https://www.facebook.com/lakehartwellaxeco
Or if you want to unleash your kid at heart, you can always do the Shamrock Shuffle in Elberton without your children: https://www.facebook.com/events/1346585703143115/
Trust me...with all of the local businesses in our surrounding area, I'm sure there even more will be added to the list of all you can do!
Let us watch the kids! We hosted this in February at Valentine's Day and all the parents enjoyed that time to themselves while their kids had a blast building forts, playing the floor is lava, eating dinner, decorating cupcakes, etc The hours are from 5pm-10pm for those that are K-5th grade and the cost is $25 per child.
All you need to do to register your child for it is:
1) Go to www.hartwellhydra.org
2) Choose Register and scroll to the button on the bottom of the page
3) Fill out your child's information and check off March 14th Parent's Night Out when it asks what program.
From there we will reach out to you to confirm and process your invoice.
You are also welcome to reach out to us and schedule a tour with us before dropping off your child(ren) so we know they are comfortable. We are at 200 Clay St in the back of the Rec Dept building.
We look forward to seeing you!
