Can you feel that eerie chill in the air? It's almost Halloween!
While us moms are dusting off our flannel and fall wreaths, the kids are planning costumes and neighborhood trick-or-treat strategies.
My family is no exception to this rule. Halloween costume ideas have been flowing for weeks, and the first cool morning recently had me feeling all sorts of fall festive. We'd recently had a great experience ordering school supplies at Five Below, so I decided to hop back on their website to see what they might offer in the way of Halloween fun.

Forgive the cheesy pun, but oh. my. gourd. We had so much fun searching through Five Below's Ultimate Halloween Shop page! The kids scoured through graphic tee choices and costume accessories while I found some decor pieces that I hadn't known I'd needed to add to my collection.

Halloween decor
Let's talk decor first. We found lots of your traditional spooky inflatables and indoor/outdoor pieces (think pumpkins, skeletons, ghosts...) along with a nice selection of The Nightmare Before Christmas options. Almost all items were within the range of $3-$15. My favorite finds were faux succulents in adorable pots ($3 each, pictures above).

Costume fun
When it come to costumes, we have built up a nice inventory over the years, and my kids like to get creative by bringing their own ideas to life most years. That being said, my tween daughters were thrilled to find Five Below costume accessories like face jewels and costume eyelashes that "slay" and help their costume vision come to life.
Their little sister paired a Five Below cute purple wig with Five Below wireless headphones and is halfway to being the pop star she wants to be on Halloween this year. Bonus: She needed new headphones anyway, and these have great sound quality!
