No Syrup On My Waffles
Most of us enjoy a syrup covered waffle, but I recently started doing something different with mine. In an effort to make changes to my eating habits I decided to start adding fruit to my waffles instead of the syrup. The other change I made was I now use whole grain waffles. If you don’t have waffles or want to try something different, you can use these same toppings on toast or pancakes.
My favorite topping is peanut butter with strawberries and bananas. Here is a list of ideas you could try.
Peanut, Almond, or Sun butter topped with
-Strawberries
-Bananas
-Granola
-Strawberries and Bananas
-Bananas and Granola
-Apples
-Raisins
Cream Cheese topped with
-Strawberries
-Blueberries
-Pineapple
-Strawberries and Blueberries
If you want to give it a little extra health benefits then you could add chia or flax seed. Cinnamon would be a tasty touch to the peanut butter and banana.
